Pahuna Nepalese restaurant Nerja

Postby ashtondav » Sun Jun 13, 2021 12:23 pm

Loved our meal here. I think it’s newish? We asked the charming waiter for typical Nepalese dishes (as they also provide some usual Indian dishes) and they were delicious. He also explained the caste system and that certain castes were not allowed certain dishes. Good service, good food, reasonable prices - and he gave us complimentary poppadoms!

It’s next to H2O just before you turn left on totge burriana seafront road.

Yes, it has only been open for 3 months.
My wife and I went there last night.
Run, and owned, by a Nepalese family.
The waiter is very friendly and will explain the dishes to you.
Had 2 typical Nepalese dishes.
Good food, good service.
Will go again.
Cheers

To those who have been to Pahuna Torrox Costa. We had a takeaway recently and both our meals were strange. There were no visible vegetables at all the whole looked like it had been through a blender. Have others found this normal ?

What dishes did you order?
Different dishes have different appearances.

Come back Melvin and turn it back into the Old Goa. As Pahuna we found the food pretty OK, but preferred Melvin's cooking.
