Yummy Spanish / American style food, Really good quality Spanish with American twang! With a picture perfect view of the lake, I'll find out the name and post it here, but its basically the restaurant just after the turning for town on the lower part, with parking in front and views galore!

Think it must be Zahara de la Sierra which is between Jerez and Ronda. the rough guide also calls it de los Membrillos "of the quinces" there is a big lake filling up after the construction of a dam.

There is another Zahara .. de los Atunas which unsurprisingly is down on the coast near Cabo de Trafalgar

There is also the bug resevoir near Zahara de Istan, La Constituacion. So it could be there as well.

Where is it?

Somebody let us know......................................
Oh Yes! another day in paradise!

Zahara de la Sierra - 40kms northeast of Ronda, just up the road from Grazalema.

The restaurant in Zahara (de las Sierras) near Algodonales is called Al Lago
(http://www.al-lago.es) . It does Spanish/American/Indian food-lovely curry nights once a month. Owners Mona and Stefan will give you a warm welcome and yes the views are stupendous.
