Nice little bar in San Julian, 2 minutes from the airport. As you come into San Julian from the airport you go through the little narrow road near car storage places, a small crossroads and the bar is on a corner on the right hand side.

You could also try Venta Las Niñas near the next roundabout (last exit) going towards Churriana. It used to be called Meson el Cohete.

Beachcomber, thanks for that as i sometimes use that route and great to know of these places.
I also use the place Costakid mentions as great for breakfast sandwich as i hate Airport food.

If you are travelling in a rental car make sure to take your valuables into the bar with you.

dont forget that the centre of torremilinos is pedestrianised now, if you are going that way.
theres no point someone recomending something in the opposite direction
This is a great place - we go there quite alot from work for a bocadillo now and then, or stop there for a coffee after work. Cheap and quick - very popular with the locals
which way do you go out? theres some great places at las americas if you take the road through zapata / alhaurin de la torre ? or do you go out the airport and east, then onto the a357 and up to cartama then onto pizarra? or continue on the a357 and go all the way towards alora ?jaycecampo wrote:Can anyone recommend Tapas not too far from Malaga airport ? in 20 years i´ve never tried it, but we keep going past thinking that it looks nice.Beachcomber wrote:You could also try Venta Las Niñas near the next roundabout (last exit) going towards Churriana. It used to be called Meson el Cohete.
