Flamenco lessons

Postby denhams » Fri May 18, 2007 4:49 pm

Hello,
I just wondered whether anyone takes Flamenco lessons and if so where they take place and which teachers they can recommend?
Many thanks

I love to see a good flamenco display.
As far as the music is concerned, I used to think that when they realy got going they were "jamming" But no, the music has a very rigid structure and everyone playing knows exactly where they are at any point.

As for the dance. Once you have mastered the facial expression which is a mixture of disdain/constipation/orgasm, you are sorted.

But as for taking lessons... I think I'll leave that to someone else
