Simply Red will be playing in Marbella on 30th July at Hotel Puente Romano. Tickets on sale from tomorrow from Fnac & Carrefour.

Damn, I was told on Tuesday night that they may be coming to Spain soon but hoped it would be nearer, Marbella is 4+ hours away, and sooner, we leave at the end of June :roll:

Ah well, will have to just keep the memory of when I saw them during the Stars tour too many years ago :)

Probably be expensive as there is not much audience capacity. He once bumped into me in Oxford St (literally) and picked up my carriers :)

Far too expensive for me, tickets from 150,00 € to 300,00 €. I thought it would be cheaper than that, as he's playing in Palma beginning of August and prices are from 48,00 €, which I thought was OK.

Whilst I don't mind how far I drive, I do mind how much I pay! It would be cheaper to fly to Bristol and see the gig there!

Why do they seem to think that because the Gig is in Marbella we all have loads of money. I would luv to see them but cant afford/wont pay €150 for a ticket :twisted:
I went to see Bryan Ferry last year near Malaga and paid €10 for the ticket and it was brill :lol:
What a life!!!!!

As I said earlier, the place only holds a small capacity, It is only the place they have for tennis tournaments. Larger the venue, smaller price.

I thought he had disbanded "Simpl Red" and just doing his own thing nowadays or is tis a farewell tour. I have seen Simply Red play live a few times and they have been brilliant concerts. Now for a bit of name dropping.....I actually went out for drinks a few times in my youth with Mick in Manchester when he had a house there. I could tell a tale, but a lady doesn't kiss and tell!
