Noche de San Juan

Postby gerryh » Sun Jun 18, 2017 3:35 pm

Next Friday is the Noche de San Juan.
Usually we go to the beach at Rincon de la Victoria.
When we fist went there about 12 years ago, there where families having BBQs on the beach and a lot of people lighting bonfires and doing the traditional midnight swim.
Always a good atmosphere.
Recently there has been fewer BBQs and, last year, very few bonfires and hardly anybody going in the sea. Totally lacking in atmosphere.
Any recommendations in the Rincon to Nerja area where they are still likely to being going in the sea at midnight?
Cheers
Gerry

La Cala Del Moral is still very traditional. 1km further down the road.
