As a matter of interest, here in Las Palmas we are in the midst of our Carnaval festival which is one of the most important carnivals in the world, very close to the level of Rio (and is actually live streamed there) anyone who wants to experience a genuine carnival atmosphere should come and try it, it's worth the trip !
