Moors and Christians parade- Velez Malaga

I believe there is a Moors and Christians parade in Velez Malaga tomorrow, Friday.
Anybody got any details of the parade route etc?
Asked in the tourist information and they didn't even know there was a parade.

I hadn't seen this advertised, Gerry, so couldn't give you any information. However, there has definitely been something going on, or will be this evening - as I was coming home just now and passed the old Hospital San Juan de Dios (now the MVel museum) there was a line of 8 lovely horses tied up outside and a man wearing a suit of armour (I thought I was seeing things at first!). Events in Vélez are often very poorly publicised, unfortunately, and you don't get to find out about them until after they've happpened.

Theatrical re imagining of the entrance of the Catholic Monachs into Velez Malaga( as part of the fiesta de la Cruz Cordero) that set off at 18.30 from Cruz de Cordero and is due to arrive at the Plaza San Fransisco at 20.30.
