"Probably but I sometimes get just as fed up with rules as the rest of you!"

Great start to my day after a 16-hour day yesterday getting my nephew from the airport in Madrid. Train line was blocked by a derailed goods train ( not sure if that was caused by a goat or not) and the bus put on to by-pass the derailment got lost and we were an hour late in Madrid and then the Metro line around Sol is disrupted until the end of September (definitely not caused by a goat) so it was all rather a tedious day but I love goat's cheese and last week, walking along the Jerte Valley we met a goatherd with prime goats and I've got the most excellent photos of a Billy Goat, brushed, washed and enormous with long curling horns ...

Getting serious again,

The Europe in / out back on the agenda.

Had an email from David Cameron earlier today ( serious ).......quote

"Tomorrow, the Conservative Party will vote to give the British people their say on Europe.

As I made clear in my speech on Europe earlier this year, we want an In-Out referendum by the end of 2017. And tomorrow Conservative MP James Wharton will propose a Bill that would write this commitment into law.

The Bill has my full support - and it has support from across the Parliamentary Party: Ministers and backbenchers; Conservatives of all views. We are united behind it and we will vote for it.

The political picture here is a simple one. Conservatives want to give people a choice on Europe. Labour don't-they're refusing to back our Bill.

For decades, politicians have denied the British people a voice on Europe. Tomorrow the Conservative Party will fight to give them one. And let us all be proud of that " end of quote

I will pass on any messages !

Could you ask Mr Cameron what his policy is regarding the high price of goat meat in southern Spain?

Don't be surprised if his reply is a little gruff. :(

Seriously, how can one government bind another in the future to do a certain thing?

If the people want a vote, then the government shouldn't stop it, if the majority want out, it will be an out vote, and if not, a no vote, and then we get on with it either way, why any one in Government should want to go against the people is beyond me, they are supposed to represent the people, don't think they have realised that yet lol !

Well, if it is an out vote, could effect pensioners outside of the UK as mentioned in the past day or so !

It may have been mentioned but there is absolutely no evidence that it will.

Just to be on the safe side, I expect everyone (who bothers to vote) should plump for "In"

I see that in the Scottish referendum no ex-pat/non residents are being allowed to vote.Only anyone living in Scotland on the day.

Do you really believe that politicians have any interest in what ordinary people like us think about anything? You must be kidding.

And any vote would have as much credibility as the ones for Strictly or FactorX.
