My wife and I lived in the Province of Jaen until November 2020, we had lived there since 2011. We are considering buying a house or flat in our old town as non residents as a holiday home. Any advice would be helpful on how we opn bank accts, arrange utilities/wifi etc, could we reconnect with our previous suppliers? If we purchase a flat is there an equivalent of our leashold, can we buy and insure a car as non res? As we are both over 65 years and in receipt of state pension can we access the Spanish Health Care ae we could whilst resident. Any other info would be gratefully received.
Thanks all

Pretty much the same as before for opening bank accounts. You will just need a non resident account. And the same for wifi interms of there been no issues. You can buy a car as a non res no problem.

The car dealer might want a copy of the padron for you to buy a car but legally you shouldnt be on it if your a non res. And they dont need one just proof of address for registering the car
