Finding a rental property during the summer

Currently renting in Salobrena but my lease comes to an end in June. I'm looking for something to buy but not found my dream home yet, so I will need another rental. There are a large number of rented flats available from September, but it seems impossible to find anything apart from very expensive holiday accommodation on the coast during July and August. I thought of moving inland. Any suggestions?

I lived in Torrox for a while a couple of years ago and there seemed to be quite a few properties available in the summer. It's only 5 k from the coast but you will need some form of transport!
