Just for your info, this is an old rule which is to do with your new bollatin, nothing to do with the solar - any time you get a new bollatin it obviously has to be upto current spec, and this 'rule' was put in place about 15 years ago when I was working with the electrician. We were doing a "meter box move" at least 2x a month back then, and depending on the job, it could be quick and easy or take a week and be very messy and expensive.
