Re: Leaf/ Pine Needle Blowers
Much easier to lift pine needles with a fork as they are quite matted.

Hi,
I've been looking at leaf blowers recently and they are a lot cheaper in UK, a Echo PB-755 is 710e , in UK 350-400GBP .
I use a ECHO Brushcutter and find them well made.

La Raya - They are loose, we usualy pick them up twice a year after raking, hence the need for a blower to make the job easier - we have 20,000 sq M to clear !!
Jennifer - Thanks for the info, I will look at an Echo. I find it easier to buy in Spain, although a little dearer, it is easier to get things repaired when they go wrong.

Hi,
A lot of the locals up this way use STIHL blowers ( another make worth looking at)
Reading reviews , were Echo and STIHL blowers were being used by the same person they preferred the ECHO model.
You don't want to be doing your area by rake..unless you have plenty of time to spare

Will take a look at Stihl, but I need to find out the most powerful models. I have a 2.5KW electric one at the moment, fine for driveways etc, but need a stronger petrol model for the leaves and pineneedles.

Hi,
I think you will find the ECHO PB-755 upto your needs, I'm getting one to do round my olive trees.
STIHL equipement is good also, pay for the name ? Although the BR 600 looks a good one if you can get it at the right price.

ok.. who is editing my posts.. and why???!?!?!?!?spanish_lad wrote:i´d recomend stihl all day long.
forgot to say, if you have "tough" weeds, or anything up to the thickness of a small tree (?!??!!?!!) that you want to get rid of, forget the strimmers with "twine" and go for a sthill bladed strimmer - you could take out a small army with one of those things lol!!!!
