Baby safety gates for stairs
On our next visit our 21 month old grand-daughter will be with us. We are a bit worried about the stairs and want to get some safety gates to limit her explorations. Can anyone tell me where I can get them in the Torre del Mar area? I did look in eroski during our last visit and didn't see them on display!

Mothercare in st stephens green and get "an post" to deliver it.
Re: Baby safety gates for stairs
A few years ago we bought a travel stair gate. It rolls up into a small bag and fits in most bags/suitacses and even fits one of our carry on bags. It doesn't take up much room and fits most stairs. If you have a very wide stair it may not work but we have found only a few that it is too small for. Our children have never got by it...so far!
If you put "travel stair gate" into a search you will find plenty.
Cheers

A travel stairgate - well I never thought of that. thanks probe.
Mhic, I will take you up on your offer, if you don't mind. We won't be over till October, so will make arrangements closer to the time. Thanks a million!

Although you are now sorted, Eroski at El Ingenio had them last week. They aren't obvious but last week they were next to the cots.
We bought one a couple of years ago, I think at Ikea but Leroy Merlin also do them. Up the back amongst all the wood panelling etc.

I've got an inferiority complex, but it's not a very good one!
