Endesa air conditioning

Postby elizabennett » Fri Nov 30, 2018 2:56 pm

Has anyone used the air conditioning supplied by Endesa? They appear to have a good payment plan. What's their service like?

Hopefully fully better than their electricity supply business.

This is not helpful. We have had a place in Spain for six years and so far we have not had any problems with Endesa's service.

I just spoke from personal experience, after serious errors in billing and meter issues. For years, Endesa and Telefonica have topped the polls for difficult customer service. Plenty of archive posts here if you do a Search.

I had so many problems I went to Iberdrola, whose customer service is brilliant. They would have to pay me to come back.

Well after eleven years paying them by direct debit they cancelled the mandate and returned to manual cash payment. Pain in the ass . . . . . I have just managed to set up a new mandate after several stalled attempts. They are monkeys.

Just to balance it up slightly.
I haven't had any problems with Endesa.
When I upped my potencia all dealt with efficiently.

They forced me to upgrade my potencia. They did it wrong (inadequate) twice and it cost me €500.

Absolute nightmare.

Stay on topic please as you like to say. The OP is asking about air conditioning and not your experiences with Endesa, much as she'll be thrilled hearing about them.

We've been with Endesa for as long as you and have had no issues as it happens.

She asked what their service was like. She has had a number of replies about that. You may have had no issues with them, but it is when you have an issue that you find out what they are like.

If you think the post is off topic, report it.

I have been with Endesa over 3 years now. Initially I selected higher potencia not knowing higher cost, later I reduced the potencia both times online while chatting with them on the phone from UK. I have had no problem with their service.

It is true, they don't cause problems for everyone.
But when they do, it is frequently a nightmare to sort out.
If an accounting error occurs, the error always seems to be in their favour.
They also take the firm stance that mistakes are the customer's fault, and that their smart meters are infallible.

In our case (a obvious smart meter fault, which was displaying the incorrect time for over a week - not helpful if you're on dual-tariff) even the Malaga consumer office (OMIC) was obliged to give up with them, after they persistently argued that the fault had never occurred! The spike/skew in the monthly units usage was dismissed as a result of 'consumer usage'. The error cost us almost €150, plus the protracted aggro.
