Pool Paint

Postby telboy » Tue Nov 05, 2019 9:53 am

Having a plunge pool built 2x2m finished in concrete/mortar, having a painted finish rather than tiled, any tips would be useful - paint brand, etc

cheers terry

If you go into Big Mat or similar you will find commercial pool paint for sale.

I didn't mention the large DIY sores as a I was advised to forget about these and use a specialised paint store like Pinturas de Andalucia, Pinturas Antequera or similar as their staff are more knowledgeable regarding specialised jobs.

BigMat is more for trades men. The one at Rincon is used by all local trades people although retail can use it.

Costakid - Never been to Big Mat, bit of a hike from this side of Andalucia, there is one south of Granada and another near Alhaurin el Grande slightly nearer to me is Leroy Merlin Construction and BricoDepot as well as BricoMart at Plaza Mayor I feel they too are geared towards tradesmen.

I am sure they are all over Malaga area. Used to be called Cano but I think bigmat bought local builders yards and rebranded.
