E6 error code on the Rangemaster induction hobs is a power board fault.

On the induction hobs you have 4 plates and 2 power boards. As each boards 2 rings.

So the side thats giving the E6 error code needs the power board replacing and that will cure the fault from there for you.
If it only had one power board i might of said it was connected the wrong way around, but if its two.. its more likely a duff board.
