Hi,
I am considering replacing my combi boiler for an electric tank, as lugging the gas bottles is becoming an issue. Where the housing for the boiler is, is on the lower ground floor and our bedroom with ensuite is on the third floor, the hot water pressure now is not great but will this be further reduced by having it fed by a tank. Would installing a pump with a flow switch for the hot water supply be an option?
Increasing hot water pressure
Re: Increasing hot water pressure
I would suggest putting a pump on the inlet side of the electric hot water tank.
Having it on the output side will try to empty the tank if the flow on the input side is very slow.
Cheers
