Alfafa seed

Has anyone seen these seed here in Spain? I´ve been reading about how good alfafa is for the soil.

Olive, not really important unless you want to google it, but it is spelt "alfalfa". I think Alfafa is an area of Sevilla, no? You can definitely buy alfalfa in Spain (according to a quick google search) but whether you can buy in small amounts, I don't know. I know we have sprouted alfalfa seeds before, they are very nice and they grow very easily, but I don't know anything about growing them as a crop.

You can get the seeds in Viveros..garden centers..and Herboristería ..health food shops.

The agricultural merchants on the outskirts of Antequera (on the right on the way in to the Veronica centre) sell it. I'm sure there's an agricultural merchants in Osuna somewhere, which would be closer.

You certainly can get it in Chiclana - the agriculteral suppliers on the left past Eroski have it at 8.90E/kg.

If you did,where did you get them from..I have tried ebay but it comes up with zilch. :(

Haven´t tracked down any yet. but it hasn´t been the sort of weather to go out hunting for seed has it? :(
