PP if it has three leaves it's still worth trying to save. Prune it hard back to a dormant bud (a slight swelling on the stem) then give it a good drink and a feed. I've just hacked mine back by 20 feet and it currently does not have even one leaf. They are very tough. Good luck :)

I seem to have a problem with any climbers except bougainvillea and ivy! Which both grow as easily as weeds.
I've had 5 attempts with stephanotis, 3 honeysuckle and 3 jasmine, and other things I don't know the names of, but come to nothing. So i'm stuck with every colour of bougainvillea and that is it :(

mmm, well i have major porblems with jasmine too...honeysuckle is great tho, bourgans and passionflowers thrive..
Bourgans are not a horrible plants, quite beautiful..so your lucky really..lol..my mums trying to keep one alive in UK,but hers havent even started flowering yet...
I bought a lot of my climbers from Morrisons in Gib,and they have all took....at 2.99GBP its not so bad if you lose them.
