Ive just bought some solar powered lighting.
They were bright at first and now they are completely dead.
There is an on off switch at the back of the charging panel....now then, this is what i need to know...
To charge up the lights, does the on/off switch need to be switched to on or off???
Ive tried both ways and neither works. No instructions either...Ive got loads of solar lights, but these have me baffled. either that,or im having one of my blonde dizzy moments...
A stupid question regarding solar lights!

Needs to be on.
Presumably you've left them in the sun?
If you've got a charger, take the batteries out and give them a good charge.
Failing that, return them to the shop .

Re: A stupid question regarding solar lights!
might not of been bright enough to charge them fully and the batteries are dead.
i have some from bauhaus - 4 for €10 (too cheap to be much good ) and 2 of the 8 now dont light. i imagine this is down to dead batteries - turn yours off and put some normal batteries in, see if they light up? if so, thats what it is.
new batteries, or take them back?
have you cleaned the solar panel btw?

Good advice there....but don't forget you have to buy rechargeable batteries.
