?anyone tried growing luffa?

never tried this before but recently saw one hanging on a fence ... thought to try as looks fascinating ... ?has anyone tried and/or got useful tips?

Easy to grow. We had, maybe a dozen plants last summer. I would say treat like courgettes or cucumbers but ive never grown either of them.

Planted next to irrigated fruit trees and that was pretty much it. Pick and peel when ready.

Had to Google this .... I see it's loofah! Can you eat it or just use it in the bath?

Nothing to eat. Thickish skin, loads of seeds and the loofah skeleton. No use in a hot bath as they go soft almost immediately.
