agree olive wasps have their uses ... it's their numbers that bother me ... and their unprovoked attacks!

Zap them? ! Wasps are very beneficial. Now mosquitoes - what purpose do they serve in nature!

Aren't mosquitoes part of the food chain? Food for our local bats. Have to admit though that I generally dislike anything that bites or stings (bees aside, as they have only stung me when I have unfortunately sat or squashed one on me by accident, and their stings are not as bad as the wasp).
