His camera is a bit special but he is also a very good photographer, I just wish he would bang his own drum and bit (yes we are related...lol) He also has a very good team working for him, Didi and Rubia, they are very good at finding creatures for him to photograph
Didi did not do so well last night as the pesky mouse is back, it turned up and ran along the work surface, and Didi sprang into action, unfortunately it headed over the top of the cooker, which was horribly hot, Didi carried on chasing but sharp removed herself once she hit the top of the oven Talk about a cat on a hot tin roof !! Pleased to say she is fine just had warm paws but no burns.
Should have got him to take a picture of the large scorpion we found in the hall last night.

The photography
Lovely pics Diana. My camera is out of date now too - I need more pixels Lots of offers on over here at the moment as (apparently) nobody has much money to spare, what with the petrol, food, mortgage and everything else

Done some more "tilt shifting" experiments this afternoon...
Re: The Photograpy Thread
As I understand "tilt shifting", the idea is to make something look as if it is in miniature, like a model, but IMHO, all "tilt shifting" photos look as if they just have areas badly out of focus! Yours might be good "tilt shift" photos for all I know, it's just not a process I buy into. I don't know anything about it really, but suspect that if the "feather" of the area to be out of focus was greater, you'd have a smoother transition between the two..Griff. wrote:Done some more "tilt shifting" experiments this afternoon...

Nice shots, but the "tilt-shifting" makes me feel plastered - and I've only had a cup of tea - yes, really!
