Video head cleaning tape

Hi all
Am using a Sony Handycam . I am no getting a heads dirty message and it suggests I use a Tape head cleaner. The tapes I use are Mini DV tapes. Anyone know of anywhere in the Antequera are I might purchase such a tape or even the Velez Malaga or Malaga area?

you could try an antique shop for the video head cleaner

That's what I'm afraid of, but it is video camera head cleaner for mini DV tapes not the old VCR tape head cleaner I am after.Mind you this camera is 3 years old and probably and antique already. I know they are phasing out mini DV to b replaced by hard disks which is why I am dubious as to getting this video camera head cleaner

If I do not find one soon that is what I will do . We still have a month here before gong back to Canada and visits from friends scheduled.

A head cleaner tape only does what you can do manually with cotton buds and med alcohol. Takes care of course but you can usually access the heads to clean manually.

Yes have cleaned heads on old VCR's before but this camera seems a bit delicate...maybe when the OH returns from Vitoria he will offer I really am ham fisted when it comes to elecronics

You're wonderful , we'll probably do so as soon as the OH gets back in about 10 days ..I think he wants to see you anyway . Saw that eroski in Antequera sell them but the spot was empty and when I asked got the old "don't know when we will get any in". Frustrating but they were cheap at 13.75 . I will look on line but know the OH would prefer a reason to go up your way!
