Replacement satellite remote

Our satellite remote has been a little tempramental, so I went into the local chinese shop and picked up a new one. No problem getting the TV, using the code provided. The sky digibox is a diffrent story. Our digibox is a Pace there are eight diffrent codes and I have tried them all. Has anyone else tried using one of these chinese multi function remotes, have you succeeded in getting it to work. Or as so often is the case should I just get a new sky remote, if so does anyone no where from.

We bought our replacement from a satellite installer in our area (British). If I can remember right, it was about 15€.

Can pick them up at most car boots for about 5 euros.
