Postby princess peach » Mon Apr 27, 2009 7:38 pm

Has anyone subscribed to setanta by remote control thru the sky box,or installed it into the pc for a monthly fee?
Its asking for uk phone number and postcode on the website, can get round this by subscribing by remote thru sky box using debit or credit card, but cant do it on the website as we dont know the address our sky card is linked to..
any info would be helpful :D

Peach, i rang setanta to subscibe from the uk and they asked for the sky viewing card number and the credit card name and address for monthly fees. they are nothing to do with sky so you should not have any problems there. It then takes upto 4 hours to activate depending on how busy they are.

i would'nt mention Spain. They active Setanta through your sky box. I just rang and gave the viewing card number and the uk credit card address.

Can you get in touch with the people who set up your Sky system in Spain and issued the viewing card? We did this and they just added the Setanta subscription charge as a monthly direct debit through our UK bank (Spanish address).
