Firefox crashing on just one web site.

Postby rafiki » Wed Dec 30, 2009 6:07 pm

Firefox crashes as soon as I start the First Direct web site. It's not the FD site as I can connect OK from my wife's laptop and it works OK on my machine with IE8 and Google Chrome. All my other frequently visited sites work fine

I have disabled all add-ons but no better.

Any pointers please as to what else I should be checking?

Windows XP Pro, Firefox 3.5.6

Hi rafiki,
What version of Firefox is on your wife's system.
I can access the site ok with 3.5.5.............they will be releasing 3.6 soon,so as you can access it ok from other browsers , might be worth waiting for this release. 8)
All my best learning experiences start with a problem I need to solve.

Enrique,

Thanks. The wife's laptop has the same version 3.5.6 of FF. Might give the 3.6 beta a whirl.
