Back off topic. NO, the interactive bits of Sky News don't work on Freesat.
I've got an inferiority complex, but it's not a very good one!

Cheers everyone for your advice on this thread.

Im happy to report that my white sky card arrived yesterday. I got all the details from the system set up menu called the uk and my relative then called Sky directly to activate it.

Within minutes we had the channels PLUS the last four number PIN.

Im glad Ive got it but the "extra channels" are not the greatest.(only five USA is any good really).

Unfortunately my 101 is not BBC South which appears to be weak as it was breaking up at night, (not a major issue as BBC CI is stronger for us).

If only all the freeview channels become FTV then it will be great. Still £20 is not bad if it last a good few years!!!
