Ebay help needed please chaps.

Postby Devils Advocate » Wed Sep 22, 2010 6:20 pm

I know someone here will know the answer.

I've not used ebay for a while so having listed a load of stuff in a garage clearout a friend has just informed me he'd like to buy one of the bits I've just told him I've listed .

There are no bids on it yet so I can remove it................problem is I don't know how to  , I can't find the facilty to do this. As I say I've not used the place for ages.

Time is of the essence as I'd like to pull the item before someone else bids.

Many thanks as always.

That's how you end listings early. Just enter the auction (listing) number and it will probably prompt you for a reason such as "Item is broken", "Item is no longer for sale" etc so just select the appropriate one.

Yes, very handy that facility.

I'd relisted something that hadn't sold, held a car-boot sale and sold the item forgetting that I'd relisted it, just realised it was about to go that evening.

Had a mad panic to take it off, luckily there were no bids at the time.

They certainly hide that feature away. Obviously don't want you removing items which is understandable I suppose.
