TV Last Night 6 December

Postby TerryC » Tue Dec 07, 2010 8:45 am

Lost the British TV signal totally last night in the hills above Antequera. Not a thing on any channel. Did anybody else experience the same?

When all the hullabaloo about digital TV started and how wonderful it was going to be nobody mentioned that if the weather was bad you wouldn't get a signal. I wonder how many people have phoned up their installers saying the TV has broken down?

And of course, with so many channels you can now watch repeats of repeats of repeats!!!!!!!!

Martin, panic not. I just lost my Sat sIgnal last night due to the attrocious weather. Couldn't see a hand in front of your face at our place last night.

Julian and I have been having a joke about Brussels, that's all.

However I hope they don't read this forum, cause they might think. "HEY, THAT'S A GOOD IDEA!!!!"

That's the problem with the digital system, bit of rain & you get break-up. We had the same problem in the uk with the sky. Now we get it on the spanish system since they've changed over. Progress, I think not !

We too lose everything when it throws it down or we have a storm , but normally waiting patiently is the answer, it always come back (unless the wind has moved the dish!!)
