Alternative to itunes ?

Is anybody using CopyTrans Manager as an alternative to itunes or are there any better programs around ?

I'm not looking for a program to "buy" music, just one that will let me transfer music and pics etc from my laptop to iphone 3g.

I've used Copy Trans loads of times with a series of iPods and my old iPhone.

Works perfectly!

I use Winamp to manage my very old iPod:

but it requires that the iPod be mounted as a drive, a feature which has apparently been blocked on newer iPods.
