Cocoon Telecom/BT

Postby Coin Boy » Thu Jul 28, 2011 1:21 pm

i've been approached by Cocoon Telecom trying to get me to shift via them to BT. The advantage is that it would enable us to escape from Spantel, our ISP, and Movistar/Telefonica (we went with Spantel because Telefonica refused to give us an adsl connection on the same line that we have the adsl with Spantel).

I can't see the speed of the connection changing but the bill should come down.

Does anyone have any experience of Cocoon or BT in Spain or failing that any opinion on moving over?

Thanks in anticipation.

Thanks. I'd heard it during the day but didn't connect the two. I'm not sure that the practice in the UK would necessarily affext what happens in Spain even in the same business and I'd be surprised if there isn't a firewall between the various BT companies.

I've had a look around for information of today's judgement and came across this: http://www.theregister.co.uk/2011/07/28 ... _newzbin2/
