No trail with an ISP is it possible?

Does anyone know how to either disguise or illuminate an ISP?

What are you trying to do?
The best option will depend what you want to achieve.

I want to be able to leave feedback on tripadvisor for instance and comment on another forum without being stalked by someone.

Also wondered if could do this on Fb for same reason.

Depends, if your stalker is GCHQ or similar tricky, but much simpler if its just someone with only a standard knowledge of IT.

One of the simplest ways would be to use an Internet Cafe in a large town or use the Zenmate extension to mask your IP Addy and choose where you want to be located. Go to their website and have a read, for your purpose it is Free. There are others but I find this one very user friendly. Obviously use a user name not associated with you.

With sites like Tripadvisor, Andalacia.com etc. only the site owners and moderators can see your IP address and which ISP you are using. General members and posters can't see this detail.
e.g on this forum I can't see your IP address but the mods can, so who are you trying to hide your IP address from?
My IP address shows up that it is in Milan, Italy, so not much use to a stalker.
If a person, other than the site owner or a moderator, was knowledgeable enough to find your IP address then there there is little you could do to stop him finding out details about you, that is how the Pentagon and GCHQ work.
