Has anyone used one to mirror ipad to TV? If so whats the quality like?

I use one to connect our Apple MacBook to the TV. (MacBook,- Lightning cable,- HDMI cable,- TV) The quality is extremely good, and in addition on the IPlayer channels, you also get the option to download the programme.
Got mine from a Todo Shop at a fraction of the branded price!
