doctor and ITV appointments

Postby morlandg » Sun Feb 22, 2015 4:29 pm

I can access the URL below in my chrome browser but not in firefox nor IE nor Blue Moon
https://ws003.juntadeandalucia.es/pls/i ... itamedico/
The same thing applies to the ITV appt URL.
I get the error message "The Connection was interrupted"
Could it be something to do with Avast and https scanning? And if so what should I do?

Just tried it in Firefox and get the same as you
Tried it in Vivaldi, a fairly new browser, and it works OK.
Doing a temporary disable on Avast shields control let me access the site OK in Firefox.

Hi morlang,
The medical site I get the usual Firefox warning about untrusted site etc........accept and it loads the page.

The ITV site comes up clean and loads..........

http://www.itvcita.com/Welcome.do;jsess ... TSZ5ZhWg**

Not running Avast on this system...........

As Gerry suggests have a play around with the Shield settings, as you know the site is ok..........just badly setup as Beach will confirm........... :D
All my best learning experiences start with a problem I need to solve.

Usually don't have a problem with the doctors or ITV sites.
ITV site working OK but not the doctors at the moment.

Hi,
Pulled up a Windows 7 system and all the links posted above load straight away.

Clean out the Browsers site Cookies, reboot and have another go.

As beachcomber just posted.
The HTTP link works OK but not the HTTPS link.
HTTP link now stored in bookmarks.

Hi morlandg,
There are some sites that Palemoon gets "The Connection was interrupted" , yet same sites work ok with Firefox.
I've move away from Palemoon as my prime Browser and gone back to Firefox.
