FilmOn

Postby ajtg1952 » Fri Nov 20, 2015 3:14 am

Got a shock when I arrived today at my son's in Detroit. I can't access FilmOn properly. Only BBC News is available. I can't access my recordings either.

Is there an easy way round this please.

You have to use a VPN in North America as usuage is being blocked by your US IP address. See website below.

I don't know about anyone else but when I do try to access Filmon it takes forever to connect . When I asked someone about it they said that Filmon were making it harder to access so that you will pay the £100 per annum to upgrade to HD.

Try another provider in the USA like netflix or website below. Don't use Filmon.

Just tried that site, it doesn't work from here and if it did, it doesn't appear to let you record and download which is what I want to do.

Just remembered about Zenmate. Downloaded the Application and it's allowing me to access my recordings. Very slowly though.

Not sure if this is right but same sort of subject. Have just updated Filmom App and it just won't connect to my android box on my tv. It is set to SD but just gives me a message that connection timed out. I have contacted them but not much joy from them.. Any ideas anyone who has the app.
