That is a bit clearer Torrox_campo, yes it was you, but I can understand it better now, but what is an ssd!

I have installed it once but I hated it so I uninstalled it.

I will try again but is there a more simper version to it!

Hi patricia,

"I will try again but is there a more simper version to it!".............No

Not my way but you could.......
Just backup your Data and Upgrade........When you have finished the Install Download Teamviewer and give me a shout and I remove the Bloat/send to MS cr@p.........

A few tweaks and you can have it looking like Windows 7 layout......... 8)

Hello Enrique,

Just had a thought. When I downloaded it last time it took all the games, like hearts and chess etc! can windows 10 be downloaded without losing the games!

Hi patricia,

"Preinstalled games. The games that come pre-installed on Windows 7 (like Solitaire, Minesweeper, and Hearts) will be removed when you upgrade to Windows 10 upgrade. New versions of Solitaire and Minesweeper (called the Microsoft Solitaire Collection and Microsoft Minesweeper, respectively) are available in Windows 10 instead."

Hello Enrique,

No I cannot upgrade it, it tells me to activate windows before I can upgrade!

I did it OK with the other "counterfeit Windows" I had, probably because I had reserved a copy and then after using it I did not like it and so uninstalled it! Thank you for your help anyway. I suppose that solves the problems of Heats and Chess!

I hated it to Pamela, it was all the popups, every time I moved the cursor something happened, adverts left right and centre and then the games! gone! so I uninstalled. Also you needed sunglasses just to look at the window with the light shining brightly through at the start up menu.

No I am not worried really but it would have been nice to have had it if Enrique could have "sorted" it out a bit!

But looking on the bright side I have still got my Hearts and Chess

Patricia, if you Google a search for W7 games for W10, you can download them and they run quite successfully. I quite like W10, except for the fact I can no longer elect to download updates when I wish. Any recommendations for that, Enrique?

Yes I did notice that and you could hardly read it at times.

I didnt realise that bigal. I might download windows 10 onto my lap top, but really I like W7 and I must admit I had Hotmail which is windows and some of the changes they have made are not good at all, I now cannot send out group emails so have to put them in by hand 50 peoples emails! and lots of things. Thoroughly irritating!

Hi bigal,
" I can no longer elect to download updates when I wish"........

Go to Settings -> WI-FI-> and turn On Metered connection. Turn it OFF when you want them.

If you have a problem with a Driver Update you can Download a Tool to Hide these...........

https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/3073930

Now that Windows 10 has settled down I would recommend leaving it to Get the Updates and Install them. Its working OK for the systems I look after.

I upgraded from W7 to W10 with no problem, but I must agree that the window colour is bland. There is a way to change colours, but, to me, they were even worse. So I returned to grey. If you want to try it >>>
Settings/Ease of Access/High contrast/Box saying "None" arrow down, click "High Contrast #1" and try different colours/Save with your own file title.
To return to grey >>>
Settings/Ease of Access/High contrast/Box select "None".
