Filmon.com unexpectedly closes the connection

Postby Chunky Monky » Thu Nov 10, 2016 5:46 pm

Anybody having a problem with Filmon lately?

When I try to get to their site on my laptop I get this message:

This site can’t be reached
http://www.filmon.com unexpectedly closed the connection.

I have tried using Edge, IE11 and Chrome without success.

I usually use http://live.camposat.tv/ to get into Filmon as you just click the channel you want and it loads immediately.

I can get Filmon on our mobiles and tablet but not my laptop which is plugged into my Samsung TV permanently. I use it for internet and watching UK TV.

Loads instantly using Edge on my computer, but a few days ago the filmon app on my NowTV boxes stopped working, the problem was resolved by using a later version of the app.

On my computer I am using Win10.

Try clearing cache and history. Then reboot and try again.

Just checked and Firefox works OK, but Edge has the same problem.

Hi, I've taken your advice. I didn't even know there was an app (when did they stop being programs?) so I've downloaded it and it works fine. Thanks.

You're welcome, the Filmon Family of Apps have been available for a good number of years across most platforms

Filmon went off again on Nowtv box last night , you have to load another version of the app .
