BBC iPlayer Radio - no Download option

I use one called Free VPN Uk but when I google it, it doesn't appear so I don't know if there's an Android version.
I found it in the Apple store.
Maybe another Android user might be able to advise you or Google to see which free ones are recommended. You literally only need it on during the download.

Most DNS server companies have a free VPN option. Have you tried that?

no problems with radio downloads
but the tv downlaods are geoblocked...

I have the same app mark wielding. It is not the uk but same app which you can put onto UK. I use it on my tv box and IPad and Android Tablet.

Great so that enables you to download BBC iPLAYER Radio progs and Podcasts? I have an ipad mini

The problem is not downloading the APP. It's downloading programming, using the APP.
As I have said, It's been a problem for a while now. Get Iplayer is one solution but downloading programmes directly to the phone is much easier.

What is the difference between phone or ipad? How is it easier to download to an iphone?

On an Ipad or IPhone you need to set up an account with the UK Apple app store.
