browser for an android ?

My son has a Kindle Fire 8 tablet, which came with Amazon's browser (Silk or Sylk). He's finding it a pain on some sites, so I wondered if anyone else has one of these tablets &/or which browser would be best to use (& where to download it securely from !)

Only had a quick play but starting to like the Maxton browser. Seems quite fast and ad blocking works a treat. Not one advert on the daily mail home page. Now to figure how to import my chrome bookmarks.
