Amazon Music Unlimited

Postby gerrynag » Wed Mar 04, 2020 1:26 pm

I have been trying to subscribe to Amazon Music Unlimited, but when I goto pay, it says that it is not available in my country, (Spain). I find this very strange as on Amazon.es there is a link to subscribe to it and it lets you go through the process of selecting which variant of it you want and gets as far as specifying which card you want to pay for it with.
It says on Amazon Music Help that it is available in Spain.
So I guess I am doing something wrong, but not sure what.

Have not got a VPN or DNS set up at the moment, so IP address should be for Spain.
Have not got ad blocker either.

Yes, I have done that, but still the same.

The actual message I get on the Amazon Music site is:-

The payment method does not match the country
Pick a different country or add a different payment method that has a billing address in Spain
.

However, I am using my Spanish Current Account with my Spanish address, so don't understand.

Apple Music is about the same price and much better and no silly problems with your location.

I find the music library that comes free with Amazon Prime to be more than adequate.

Sorted it out, hidden away in Amazon Music page my country location was set to the UK. Changed it to Spain and it all went through ok.

Wouldn't touch Apple with a barge-pole, over-priced and over-hyped. If I hadn't been able to setup Amazon Music Unlimited, would probably have gone for Spotify.

Not with Amazon Prime, so its music library is not relevant. Don't really order enough to make it worth while.
