One call to two phones

Postby ashtondav » Wed Aug 12, 2020 8:40 am

I have two iPhones, one on a Spanish Vodafone sim and one on a uk ee sim.

Yesterday my sister rang me on my uk phone number (i am currently in the uk). I just happened to be outside with my spanish phone/sim and the call came through on this phone!

When I looked both phones show my sisters number in the recent calls menu. My sister doesn’t have my spanish number.

I am a bit of a tech numpty. How did this happen? Th e call was from her uk mobile.

It's normal. iPhones etc have this feature where they talk to each other over your WiFi. When my iPhone rings, all the iPads and my iMac ring and it makes a lot of noise - you don't miss a call! I can take the call on any of them . Very handy when you are not near your phone.
