I have the 2020 Samsung 55’ Q80T I love it, but I expect the latest Neo versions will be better. However, I think we are talking tiny differences in quality at a very big increase in price.

A lot depends on how close to the TV that you sit. I sit about 5 ft from our 55’ TV which is pretty close to the recommended viewing distance. I might notice the difference to the Neo but if you don’t view it that close you may not notice the difference The reviews say the black areas are deeper, more like the more expensive OLED TVs, but I can’t say that the difference worries me, very happy with the Q80T.

Sadly, like HiFi, the ability to appreciate the upper limits of the technology depends on the individual’s visual or audio acuity.

Thanks Sid, thinking of now sticking with LG and the 2021 OLED Negro Puro as saw it in Action today and gives continuity and familiarity. Eyes and ears holding up as the years trundle by viewing distance downstairs is approx 10 ft so the 65 " will be fine.
