I understand how, when I browse Youtube, it offers me suggestions,based on my viewing.What I cannot fathom is why,when my wife browses Youtube,she also gets suggestions based on MY viewing.
Any ideas anyone?

I would say youtube just works on the isp address and doesn’t actually know who is in front of the screen.

Sadly I've become addicted to watching clips of people ranting at airline check-in desks & Gordon Ramsay telling restrauteurs that their food is crap!

Maybe you need to sign in to keep it under control. My son uses YouTube far more than me but I don't see any of his suggestions. Obviously, there are two sides to everything. I use YouTube to listen to music and it throws up suggestions that I would not even have a clue existed. I have seen some great videos of soul singers that were almost impossible to watch some years ago.

That's a thought Mark.I'm always signed-in but my missus isn't.I'll get her to sign-in to see if that works.At the end of the day it's not a problem; we were curious to find out why.

It turns out that both my wife & I are signed-in so that isn't the cause.
