Help with setting up a Website ..

Postby BENIDORM » Sun Mar 06, 2022 12:32 pm

Hello Folks,
May I ask you for a little help ?
I want to set up a website to promote the attractions including our museum, in my small town, Salar.
Maybe there are some good inexpensive providers that you know about and it needs to be a simple set up as I'm not too good with this area...
Many thanks in advance, any advice will be greatly appreciated...

Saludos,
Gordon....

In the past I used a program called Dreamweaver to create websites but the last one i built, I just used one of the many online website builders with most tools already in place. Just choose a template and add to it as and when. They are free if you allow ads on your website but I paid about 150 Euros per year to have my own domain.
I Googled Website builders to see if I could see the company I did it with but I didn't recognise any of them. Just Google, pick one and create an account, then off you go.

firsttango,
Thank you for that.
I've spent a little time each day looking at the options advised by Enrique , Mark and others and it really is a big minefield , especially for someone like me who has never had any training with computers, so I'm taking it slowly step by step and hopefully find the right set-up for our needs.
The problem at the moment is having enough time to spend a few hours to absorb everything, I'm really busy with the museum and my little English conversation groups.

I have to say that I really appreciate the help given so far.

Saludos ,
Gordon
