I 've been having a niggling problem with my Outlook Webmail.I have just remembered that there was a Windows update just before the problem started.
1) Could there be a connection?
2) If so, could uninstalling & reinstalling the update help?
Any advice please ?
Cheers JB

Hi jonbar.1,
If you get a "monthly" Windows update and then something stops working coreectly then first thing to do is uninstall that update, reboot and check things are back working,
To avoid Windows installing updates during your "working" day set Active Hours..........you can close off an 18 hour window so 07:00 - 01:00 works for me.
If you have Notifications enabled it will Display when a Windows update is lurking.
To remove an Update use............ Add or remove programs-->View installed updates-->highlight the update --> Uninstall

Thanks Enrique
Suppose I uninstall the update and find that Outlook is working; will the problem not return when I reinstall it?

Hi jonbar.1,
"Suppose I uninstall the update and find that Outlook is working; will the problem not return when I reinstall it?"
Probably.......so you don't reinstall it You wait for the next Monthly Update...........
Google Windows update KB"insert number here" issues ..........and see if others have had problems with this particular Update.

Hi jonbar.1,
What to do..........
Uninstall the KB update,,,,,,,,shutdown your system, startup and get on with life,,,,,,,,when it arrives back on your system Install and check , if ok it was probablly a faulty download if not Uninstall, reboot and wait for July fixes.
This support call is closed .........before Sid gives me a hard time...............

Thanks Enrique.
I understood your suggestions, up to: ".....get on with life".
I couldn't actually follow the rest of it.
Sorry. Fully understand your need to " close the call"
Thanks for trying
Cheers JB
