For some reason when I try to log in on my laptop to the Forum,it tells me that I have used an "incorrect password"
Needless to say ; I have not.
I have made several attempts without success.
I am able to submit this posting using my mobile, where I am,of course logged in.( strange :  )
Any answers anyone?
Thankyou JB

Hi jonbar.1,
Where have you been, if you look on "Active topics" you would have seen that there has been a major problem with login to the site.

What to do in your case...... on your phone go for a password reset , once you have done that you can use the new password on your Laptop.

Have a read of the Admin post........

Thanks Enrique.
I haven't "been" anywhere.
I wasn't aware of " Active Topics"
Wicksey had kindly sent me the admin post so I understand the problem.
I will follow your advice re the mobile
Cheers JB

Hi Enrique.
I tried to change password, using mobile.
I filled in the form correctly:
"Edit Acc.Settings" > "New Password" > "Conf Password" > " Current Password".
To no avail. I was told:
"The Current Password You Have Entered is Incorrect"!
I have to say that the password I submitted was indeed CORRECT.
I tried several times with the same result.
Any ideas where to go now please?
( Maybe I could take the option of "lying" and say " I have forgotten my password"? :silent: )
Cheers JB

Update;
Thankyou Wicksey & Enrique.
I used the "I've Forgotten My Password" route.
It seems to have worked
...still puzzled why it insisted on telling me that I had entered a wrong password though
Cheers JB

Good morning jonbar.1,

Moving on to Plan B............

On your laptop input user name -> leave password blank -> go for "Forgot Password"........ you should get a Password reset link sent to your email address.
It should only take a minute to arrive in your email box. If it doesn't you will have to contact Admin to get your account sorted.

"Odd that I'm still logged on on my mobile,!"........that was a software porkies......as you weren't showing up on the site :!:

As Admin stated the password DB was badly corrupted. Some members could just request a "forgotten Password", others had their account deactivated including myself and Mrs E.
All my best learning experiences start with a problem I need to solve.
