Intelsat 907 code change?

No signal on either box!

Have the codes been changed as first port of call in faulting? If not it has been windy so maybe the dish has moved…….

Anyone got a working signal please?

No code change, but the reception quality is down to 43% instead of the usual 61%. Picture still OK. If your dish alignment isn't spot on you might lose the picture.

All OK here, as Sid said, the dish needs to be spot on.
Are there any messages on the screen or just the picture breaking up.

Signal strength is 3% and 69%. But has improved to 5%

Well that worked! Not at all technical. Twisted dish manually without loosening one way and no improvement. Let go and picture came back. 47% and 69% . Temporary ( permanent) fix !

The other night the Sky box would not work at all. Said no satellite signal. We turned it off and back on but still nothing, but later on it was back working OK again. We never touched the dish. A few things went weird (the firestick wouldn''t show any programmes either, said we weren't in the UK, but they all worked OK on the laptop) and we wondered if there were sunspots or something going on.

The picture has now improved from 43% to 53% vs the normal 61%.
