Telegraph main page not loading

When I try to load the Telegraph I get a message saying:
This site can’t be reached192.168.99.1 took too long to respond.

I can get the pages within the Telegrah to load, such as the news or travel pages. Internet has been off today and been a bit odd. I refreshed the IP address on SmartDNSproxy. Not sure if it's just me and my laptop. I've cleared the cookies. Maybe it will work tomorrow

Telegraph main page loads OK on my phone so I guess it's a problem with my laptop. I had put the Smartdnsproxy settings into the laptop for when I am travelling and wanted to remove them but I cannot remember how it was originally set up. The DNS is set up in my router so should serve all my devices.

My instructions to add the dns to the laptop say to uncheck protocol version 6 and double click on version V4 then add the dns servers under wifi properties. So to reverse that I have checked the V6 box and removed the dns servers so it now obtains IP address and DNS automatically. Not sure if that is correct but I am still getting the above message when I try to load DT page. Other DT pages load without any problems.

Sort of..............

Remove Telegraph cookies.

Leave iPv6 unchecked............remove your DNS settings .......... check box 'validate settings on exit' ........... reboot system

I did that but without a DNS it doesn't allow you to 'validate settings on exit' as it's greyed out so I just OKed it. Both IP address and DNS are obtained automatically.
Telegraph age still doesn't load in Chrome but does in Bing so I shall just use that instead, so not problem really but still odd!

I've notice of late Browsers will work for some sites but not others....... This includes the "Big Five"........

Sorry Enrique, I did mean Edge the heat is addling my brain .... not my favourite time of year . I never use Edge normally but thought I'd give it a go. It seems almost identical to Chrome anyway.

I use the DNS to hide my location so I can watch UK TV here jonbar. The other things I posted are all to do with setting it up in my laptop.

I am the computer geek in my house so I am in charge of 3 smartphones, a smart TV, a laptop and a PC My OH is befuddled about it all but someone has to do it I am self taught (there weren't even calculators about when I was doing my O Level maths!) but have a bit of an interest in it all which helps
